[RESOLU] Mandriva 10.0 : plus de démarrage de X

Chers amis,

Après divers mises à jour soi-disant de "sécurité" ou "normales", mon cher pingouin m'a laché sans crier gare, ou plus exactement le serveur graphique, qui prétexte un problème sur le noyau.
Sur une Mandriva 10.0 Official, je démarre comme d'habitude, mais le démarrage graphique s'interrompt avant le lancement de KDE, et après basculement en console, j'ai droit au charmant message suivant :

N'écoutant que mon courage, je tente le fameux "startx", et voici le rendu :

This is probably a kernel bug.

Là, je reboot sur Windows et je viens solliciter votre aide, car autant le dire tout de suite, je ne connais strictement rien à la manipulation du serveur X.

Je me confie donc à vos bons soins en toute confiance.

PS : Merci de ne pas me proposer à la Mandriva 10.1 ou LE2005. Pour une question de synchronisation avec mon Treo 90, et sauf nécessité absolue, je préfère rester sur Mandriva 10.0

Je n'aurai pas le fin mot de l'histoire. Un ami m'a suggéré une mise à jour générale par update autoselect, et je suis carrément passé (sans le savoir avant) à Mandriva 10.1. Du coup, le serveur graphique a démarré du premier coup, c'est tout ce que je demandais. 8) 8) 8)
